AfriHoney is on a mission to empower local communities in Zambia through sustainable beekeeping. By providing 200 small-scale farmers, including 110 women, with locally made top-bar beehives and essential training, we’re not just increasing honey production—we're transforming lives. Our initiative enhances rural livelihoods while promoting environmentally friendly practices that reduce deforestation. With the establishment of two bulking centers for honey storage and a focus on producing export-quality honey, we’re creating a reliable market for beekeepers, boosting household incomes, and helping communities adapt to climate change. Manufacture and produce a world-class honey and beeswax of the highest consistent quality and reliability while working to ensure a thriving and sustainable beekeeping industry in Zambia and beyond. Advocate for sustainable beekeepers' interests, support honeybee health research, and deliver practical training and information. Protect the environment by being committed to environmentally sound net-zero and net-positive business practices.

What they need right now
We are looking for impact investment amounting to $92,500.00 in form of Grants, Seed capital, equity or debt. This will enable us to scale up the product and business, meeting the growing demand. This investment will contract 200 beekeepers who will be supplying to honey to AfriHoney
