Today, over 4,000 student-led nonprofits exist in the U.S., but nearly 80% fade within a year, often driven by college applications rather than long-term aspirations. After graduation, running a nonprofit grows harder, with less than 1% of funding reaching youth organizations. College is a rare window of opportunity, a space before real-world pressures fully set in. That’s where TRIIBE comes in: personalized support for five sophomores each semester, affirming their path and sustaining their vision.
To help 100 sophomores scale their nonprofits throughout college, without burning out. While our in-person events are NYC-centered, our fellowship network and impact span early-stage youth nonprofit founders nationwide.
Our work directly supports multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including: Quality Education; by uplifting youth-led educational nonprofits Climate Action; by supporting young founders tackling climate literacy and justice Good Health and Well-being; through organizations focused on youth health and mental wellness Partnerships for the Goals; by building cross-sector mentorship and support network
