An approval-only room built around one founder raising: vetted registrations, a pre-brief, one clear ask, and a same-day follow-up.

It runs online. Registration is approval-only and every registration is vetted, the founder gets a pre-brief on who is listening, and the session is forty-five moderated minutes with one clear ask, followed by a same-day follow-up. Past webinars were built for the KIBO seed round and the Own. pre-Series A round. It is the room Propel runs for hire, for one founder at a time.

Fashion (10)

Runways, designer showcases and fashion week rooms, co-hosted with DCG Media Group, from the Hamptons to Times Square.

Past rooms include Hamptons Fashion Week in Southampton, Times Square Fashion Week, the St. Valentine's Fashion Showcase, Roots & Runway at The Rose, a charity fashion show with Countess Eloise van Oranje of Holland, and a Family Office Dinner at Cipriani during New York Fashion Week. Almost all are in person; online sessions before fashion week bring in collaborators.

The cohort (14)

Founders built through together: kickoffs, weekly cowork sessions, workshops, panels, and a public demo night.

The 2026 NYC Social Impact Cohort, run with Tavern Community Coworking, started with an online info session in March and an opening night in April (Builders of Impact). From April to May it met twice a week in New York: Wednesday workshops (Mapping the Mission, Designing Impact Ventures, Building the Team, Funding the Future) and Friday social and cowork sessions. It closed with a mixer to meet the cohort, a sustainability panel, and a public Demo Night on 17 June 2026 with founders and investors in the room.

Founders and the people who fund them in one room, matched by a person before the doors open: dinners, walks, nights and panels.

Formats so far: sit-down investor dinners (Starteryou at Bananas, a steak dinner at the Harvard Club, Arkzphere, 1999 AI), Founders x Investors nights at PhD Lounge, High Line walks and the Investor Table with Catalyst Intro, a private markets panel, a mastermind match, a board game night, a Hamptons retreat for fund managers and funded founders, and online rooms such as emerging VC managers meeting AngelList and live interviews with investors. Most are in person in New York, some online.

Hackathons and job fairs (4)

Build nights, hackathons and hiring rooms that put builders in front of the teams who need them.

They include a free in-person build night for the Deepinvent4Good hackathon, Radiothon 2026 in Brooklyn (a hybrid hackathon and career fair linking New York and India, powered by InterConnect and Lovable), the Propel Developer Job Fair with Simple Apply in New York, and an online session on hiring through people you know, Great Hires Come Through People.

Parties and launches (19)

The big rooms: launch parties, mixers and nights out across New York, where the introductions happen over a drink.

Past rooms: launch parties (the BecomeFamous.ai app launch, the Travel & LIV Collective penthouse launch, the Catalyst Intro and Propel Earth launches), the Pre New York Tech Week Mixer, nights at PhD Lounge and Highlight Room, LABYRINTH at Hotel Chelsea, Women's Night, a dating mixer, Valentine's matchmaking, and Propel After Hours: no program, just the room. Almost all are in person in New York; a few launches and a live interview with Billy McFarland ran online.

Expert sessions (31)

Practical sessions with specialists: legal, tax, grants, pitching, marketing and fundraising, most of them online and free.

Topics have included startup tax and finance (Moshe Cohen, CPA), the early-stage legal playbook (Thomas Dorwart), investment, government and IP law (Esosa Ohonba), immigration law (Marcos Rodriguez), grant writing with Grants Snap, marketing (Trevor Longino of CrowdTamers), why a startup is not converting, personal branding, thought leadership with DCG Media Group and LinkedIn outreach. A few ran in person in New York: pitch practice with Meridith Grundei and Anthony Rose, improv for your pitch, a founder pitch competition with Catalyst Intro, and a panel evening with Countess Eloise van Oranje of Holland.

Coworking and office hours (12)

Regular working sessions and office hours: bring the thing you are stuck on and leave with a next step.

It started with Finish It Friday in summer 2025, online and at Impact Hub NYC, then office hours with Meridith and Natacha, coworking and office hours with Tavern Community, 1:1 sessions with Patrick Eibl, Gavin Perri and Gabe Einhorn (on finding housing in New York), and the Propel Coworking series at The Wilson x Wayo Club in summer 2026, with a free two-hour pop-up. Small rooms, mostly in person in New York, plus Propel Rooms online.

Community (12)

Walks, community calls, game nights and info sessions that keep the network close between the big rooms.

They include an Impact Tech Walk, a mindful stroll and reciprocity circle for early-stage founders, a snowball fight in Washington Square Park, a San Francisco meetup, Anxiety Antidote networking, a community call, and info sessions on the Private Network, sponsor partnerships, the Propel Marketplace and New York Tech Week events. A mix of in person in New York, one in San Francisco, and online.
